Description

This panel will discuss and demonstrate data analytics techniques that can be used to detect fraud, waste and abuse. Attendees will learn about types of data to analyze and methods for performing effective and relevant analysis to generate useful information for an organization’s stakeholders.

  • • Learn the basics of how to perform a data analysis and the effective utilization of data analysis results, Including how to review a data set and develop appropriate parameters that allow for a relevant and beneficial analysis • Identify the challenges of data analytic techniques. • Develop the analytical skills needed to evaluate and detect anomalies in large data sets • Raise awareness of red flags associated with fraud schemes that can be perpetrated by employees and external parties
