Learn the basics of RPA in our robot-a-thon. This 2.5-hour session introduces ways bots can assume repetitive accounting/financial tasks and digitally transform the workplace. The second half of the session offers a hands-on group exercise for participants to act as business experts working with RPA developers on useful code for office bots. This workshop is limited to 50 participants and you must be from a government sector. Click here to register.
The robot-a-thon is a full-spectrum experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), an emerging technology that has made news and exceeded expectations in business process automation. An integral part of digital transformation, RPA digitizes of the work and the worker. Digital co-workers take over repetitive, redundant tasks elevating human potential to higher value work. In the first part of this 2.5 hour session we cover the basics and tenets of RPA, exhibiting use cases from the accounting/financial sector that are well suited for automation and lend themselves to RPA. In the second half of this session, attendees split into groups and choose one of these use cases for live execution where they participate as business experts and help RPA developers code the RPA based automation. By the end of the workshop, participants should leave with the knowledge that they can successfully code RPA and the sample robot processes they can share within their organization!
