Description

How complete and accurate are State Annual Financial Reports? States have become creative in what they do or do not report in their financial statements, especially concerning infrastructure and retirement liabilities. This session will examine actual state reports and discuss the reporting methods used in each.

  • Understand methods States are using to achieve desired results in annual financial reports. This session will cover full disclosure of assets and liabilities, as well as items deferred or not reported.
