Description

The Department of the Treasury has developed a next-generation version of its Citizen’s Guide to the Financial Report. Learn about the citizen-centric process used to develop the website and discover the features of this tool designed to help the public understand the complexities of federal finances.

  • The objective of this session is to educate the public about and raise awareness of a new educational and informational resource about the federal government’s finances. Attendees will learn about: (1) the brief history of the Citizen’s Guide to the Financial Report of the U.S. Government and its evolution into a new site, “Your Guide to America’s Finances”, (2) the citizen’s centric process used to develop the site, and (3) the key features of this resource.
