Mr. Rowan Miranda Ph.D.

Rowan Miranda is the Finance & Enterprise Performance and CFO Advisory Practice Leader for Accenture Federal Services (AFS). In this role, he is the principal consultant for AFS for the development of offerings and solutions for federal agency financial leaders. Prior to AFS, Rowan served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for Operations at the University of Chicago (2014-2016). He also served as Associate Vice President for Finance at the University of Michigan (2009-2014). For more than 25 years, Rowan has taught public management and public finance at the graduate level at institutions such as the University of Chicago, University of Michigan, Carnegie-Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy Analysis from the Harris Graduate School of Public Policy Studies at the University of Chicago where he is currently a Senior Fellow.
