Ronnie Atkins CPA, CIA, CMA, CIG, MBA

Mr. Atkins is the Director of Audits for the Executive Office of the Governor, State of Florida. In this position, Mr. Atkins is responsible for audit activities to promote accountability, economy, and efficiency. Before joining the Office of the Chief Inspector General in the Executive Office of the Governor, he served as the Inspector General for the Florida Division of Emergency Management. In addition to his career in state government, he has held responsible positions in public accounting and private industry. 
Mr. Atkins graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and from Florida State University with a Master of Business Administration. Mr. Atkins is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Inspector General, and Certified Management Accountant. He maintains memberships in the Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of Inspectors General, and Institute of Management Accountants.
