Mrs. Rachelle Cabading CGFM, CFE
Assistant Director, TN Comptroller of the Treasury Division of Local Government Audit
Rachelle Cabading, CGFM, CFE, is an assistant director for the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury, Division of Local Government Audit. The division has statutory responsibility for audits of local governments in Tennessee.
A 20-year veteran of the division, Rachelle has served as a field auditor, audit supervisor, audit manager, assistant director, and training instructor. She currently oversees the division’s budget, purchasing, and human resources as well as assists with standards research and compliance. Rachelle is currently serving on the AGA’s higher education committee and the National State Auditors Association’s (NSAA) human resources committee.
Rachelle received her accounting degree from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. She is a certified government financial manager and a certified fraud examiner. She is also a member of the Association of Government Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Rachelle is currently serving as secretary of the Nashville AGA chapter and has previously served for many years as the chair of the education committee.
Rachelle resides in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband, Ted, and five-year-old daughter, Brooklyn.
