Mr. Matthew Roper

Mr. Roper was appointed as the Financial Systems Program Manager for the Department of Justice in May 2015 after serving as the Deputy Assistant Director, Justice Management Division Finance Staff for the past five years. Mr. Roper is responsible for the day-to-day operations of two core financial management systems, a time and attendance system, and the HR management system with an annual budget over $75M. In this capacity, Mr. Roper oversees a diverse organization tasked with providing outstanding customer support, delivering on the vision of a single enterprise-wide financial management system for the Department, and preparing the organization to become a Federal Shared Service Provider. Mr. Roper is a native of Washington, D.C. and has spent his career in the DC area. He has held various leadership and management positions at the Department of Justice and the Department of Health and Human Services.
