Sophila Jones CGFM, CPA

Sophie Jones is a Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Audit at the Federal Communications Commission. Sophie began her career as an auditor with the Department of Energy and has spent 27 years auditing at 3 different Federal agencies, Department of Energy, Department of Justice and Federal Communications Commission. She has a degree in Business Admin from Bowie State University and is a CPA and CGFM. In her current position as Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Audit at the FCC she manages a team of auditors who are responsible for the Commission’s Financial Statement and financial related Audits, IT Audits, and various audits involving FCC operations.
