Donjette Gilmore
Deputy Auditor General, Navy
Ms. Gilmore has been the Deputy Auditor General, Naval Audit Service since 15 November 2015. She leads the DON internal audit, overseeing a budget of $47 million and approximately 315 professionals, providing audit-related advice on critical Department issues. She partners with the Navy Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS) and Department of Justice, providing audit support for numerous major investigations.
Prior to joining the DON, Ms. Gilmore served as the Director, Accounting & Finance Policy for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller), the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s Assistant Chief Information Officer and the Air Force Audit Agency as Office Chief; Director of Policy, Oversight, & Systems.
Ms. Gilmore holds a Bachelor of Science in A&F from Auburn University and an MBA from Washington University, St. Louis, MO.
