Ryan Schaedig

Ryan Schaedig is an experienced leader who has lead multiple programs within the Bureau of the Fiscal Service over the past 8 years to include the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS), the Collections Information Repository (CIR) and, currently, the Do Not Pay Business Center. His current responsibilities as Acting Director of the Do Not Pay Business Center include ensuring the development and delivery of the DNP Portal, providing oversight to a team of data scientists conducting advanced analytics, and leading a team of Outreach specialists, all in support of efforts to identify, detect, and prevent improper payments. In addition to supporting Federal Agencies, Do Not Pay has begun intensifying support to Federally funded State administered programs with the expansion of its authorities under the Payment Integrity Information Act (PIIA) of 2019. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a master’s degree in Technology Management both from George Mason University. He lives in Arlington Virginia with his wife and 2 young children (ages 2 and 5).
