Tammy Street

Tammy Street is the Director, Human Resources Division, Office of Management and Policy at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) where she provides oversight of recruitment, training, payroll, compensation, executive resources, employee relations and performance management. Ms. Street has dedicated over 29 years in public service in the human capital community. Prior to joining HHS, Ms. Street served for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), as the Division Director, Talent Acquisitions for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Deputy Director, Indianapolis Hiring Center, Customs and Border Protection where she led the DHS Cybersecurity Hiring efforts for recruitment. Ms. Street attended Norfolk State University and began her Federal career in 1991, with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Ms. Street has two adult children and in her spare time she loves to spend time with her fur-grandbabies, reading and traveling.
