Sandra Paylor Sanders serves as the Deputy Assistant Commissioner, Collections and Deposits Group, Revenue Collections Management (RCM), Bureau of the Fiscal Service. Ms. Paylor Sanders provides executive day-to-day leadership for the collection and settlement of federal revenue totaling over $4.2 trillion annually (e.g., taxes, fees, fines, loan repayments, customs duties, donations) and the associated remittances. Ms. Paylor Sanders oversees the daily operations of numerous systems, services, and networks around the globe including collection, deposit, settlement, reconciliation and reporting activities, manages fiscal and financial agent relationships that support revenue collection, and responds to the impact of new legislation, White House initiatives, Federal policies, and regulations. Ms. Paylor Sanders also oversees the development and implementation of government wide strategies for increasing the use of electronic collections and related information processing and advancing the use of emerging technology for revenue collection. Ms. Paylor Sanders joined the Fiscal Service in 1995 and has worked on a variety of programs related to collections, accounting, and IT modernization. Ms. Paylor Sanders holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of Maryland University College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bowie State University. Ms. Paylor Sanders is a Certified Public Accountant, a Project Management Professional, and served six years in the United States Air Force.
