Ryan R. Adkins

Ryan R. Adkins has over 12 years of experience working in accounting, starting out in the non-profit industry before moving to the U.S. Department of State as a contracted financial management analyst in 2017. Mr. Adkins became a federal employee and supervisor in late 2019, managing a budget execution team in the Bureau of International Narcotics & Law Enforcement Affairs. His team is responsible for the bureau’s budgetary and financial reporting as well as providing reconciliation services and responding to audits and the oversight community for any financial matters. In addition, he actively works with various entities on process improvements in order to provide timely, accurate reporting to all interested stakeholders. Ryan holds a B.A. in international relations from the University of Southern California, where his studies focused on international political economy and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. He spent some time studying in St. Petersburg, Russia and earned a certificate in Russian Studies from Russia’s St. Petersburg State University.
