Controller, Millennium Challenge Corporation

Eric Redmond serves as Senior Director and Controller at the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), a key member of the Department of Administration and Finance (A&F) management team, on all matters relating to MCC’s Accounting and Financial Management operations. Mr. Redmond advises the Financial Management Division (FMD) Managing Director (MD) on all matters related to the Accounting and Financial Management Operations (AFMO) Branch’s responsibilities. Jointly with the FMD MD, share the responsibility for ensuring the efficiency, accuracy and integrity of the Corporation’s accounting and financial management processes and procedures.

Mr. Redmond also supports the Corporation by coordinating and facilitating the annual MCC financial statement audit; preparing accurate and timely accounting reports, interim and year-end financial statements and maintaining an effective internal control system. Mr. Redmond provides leadership to the AFMO Branch staff and contractors as they carry out the Corporation’s accounting and financial management processes and procedures.

Previously, Mr. Redmond worked at the US Office of Personnel Management, providing leadership in the generation, presentation, analysis, and reconciliation of OCFO accounting records and publications including: Annual CFO Act financial statements, annual Federal Managers' Financial Integrity Act (FMFIA) reports, Federal Financial Management Improvement Act (FFMIA) reports, and corrective action plans. In support of OPM’s reimbursable programs, managed OPM’s financial classification structure, and implementing and managed OPM’s cost accounting system. Mr. Redmond is a retired US Air Force Senior Master Sergeant and Master Air Traffic Controller.
