John Hill serves as the Assistant Commissioner for Financial Innovation and Transformation (FIT) at the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service. The FIT office identifies and promotes innovative solutions that will make Federal financial management more efficient, transparent and customer-oriented. John has held a variety of positions in the Fiscal Service, including Assistant Commissioner for Payments and Assistant Commissioner for Government-wide Accounting, as well as senior operations positions with Treasury’s Small Business Lending Fund and the Troubled Asset Relief Program.
