Sherry Richardson

Sherry Richardson is the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for the HHS Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources (ASFR) Office of Finance’s Office of Financial Systems Policy and Oversight (OFSPO). Sherry works closely with the OIG, Auditor, Security Teams, Business, and Internal Controls partners on FISCAM audit coordination; financial systems policy and compliance; and internal controls (A123 IT control testing). Sherry has served as the Information Security Officer at multiple agencies leading FISMA auditing & reporting, security control assessments (SCAs), and policy development and review. Sherry holds a Master of Science in Information Assurance and Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems.
