Aileen G. Burgman

Aileen Burgman, from the Treasury Department’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service, is the Product Owner of the DATA Act Information Model Schema (DAIMS), which is the core foundation of the governmentwide data standards for federal spending. Prior to this, Aileen worked in the Governmentwide Accounting (GWA) Customer Relationship Management Division, educating agencies on Treasury system changes, and transitioning agencies to the new Central Accounting Reporting System (CARS). Aileen also served as the Functional Director of the Governmentwide Accounting Modernization Project, a systems development effort to improve the accounting and business processes of GWA. Aileen has over 26 years of experience with federal financial management and earned her CPA certification in 1992.
