Aaron Ruiz

Aaron is a Senior Auditor at GAO, as part of its Financial Management and Assurance team. His work includes financial statement audits of various federal agencies and performance audits related to DOD’s financial management improvement efforts. With DOD, his areas of focus include the remediation of material weaknesses related to financial management and information systems. In addition, Aaron has worked with new and emerging technologies to learn more about their impacts on federal audit and oversight work, including blockchain technology. Aaron and his family reside in North Texas, and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
