Adam Lusin is Director of the Office of International Communications and Emerging Technologies Policy at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs. Director Lusin oversees policy development and engagement on emerging technology, innovation, and information policy across international organizations and multilateral fora including the G7, G20, APEC, OECD, and the UN. He previously worked on the Secretary of State’s Policy Planning Staff where he covered various security, economic, and geopolitical issues, and was also Senior Advisor to the Deputy Secretary of State managing the Department’s strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational reform efforts including both the 2010 and 2015 Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Reviews. Prior to joining the State Department he worked in management and technology consulting on corporate-level strategies for both public and private sector organizations.
