Ms. Andrea Inman

Andrea Inman is an Audit Director within the Office of the New York State Comptroller’s Division of State Government Accountability. Ms. Inman has more than twenty five years of auditing experience with the Office of the State Comptroller and oversees audits of various State government agencies. Included in that portfolio are audits of the New York State Medicaid Program and the New York State Health Insurance Program, which incorporate sophisticated data mining and data modeling techniques to identify improper and fraudulent medical billings. The audits have identified billions of dollars in savings, led to reforms in State policies, and have served as a platform for sharing audit techniques. Ms. Inman also oversees the Division of State Government Accountability’s Audit Innovation Unit, which supports the Division in the areas of data analytics, geographic information systems (GIS), and special technical projects. Ms. Inman holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting. She is also a graduate of the Strategic Leadership Institute of the State University of New York Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy. Ms. Inman is a member of the Association of Government Accountants and Treasurer of the EG Friends of Music.
