Mr. Andrew Gillen

Andrew Gillen is a Senior Client Executive, based in Washington, D.C., where he directs BNY Mellon’s relationships with U.S. federal government agencies and related organizations. Andrew has more than 25 years of experience in government financial management: Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Andrew led product management for government benefit payment products (such as the U.S. Treasury Direct Express program) at Mastercard, and, earlier, led sales and relationship management teams for U.S. Bank’s GSA SmartPay federal payment card business. Andrew has also served in government, at the White House Office of Management and Budget and in the State of New Jersey’s Treasury Department. Andrew holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and an MPA from the University of Pennsylvania, where he has served as an adjunct member of the faculty. He earned his BA in classical languages from the Pennsylvania State University.
