Ms. Anne J. McAndrew assumed the responsibilities of the Deputy Comptroller for Program/Budget in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Comptroller (OUSD(C)) in April 2018. As the most senior career financial manager in the Department of Defense, she is responsible for budget policy, budget formulation, congressional budget justification, funds allocation and cost control, program execution, and evaluation of the entire Defense budget – both base and Overseas Contingency Operations totaling almost $700 billion.
