Anne Sit-williams

nne Sit-Williams is a Director at the Government Accountability Office (GAO) in the Financial Management and Assurance team. She leads the financial statements audits of the Schedules of the General Fund (which includes the budget deficit) and the Federal Housing Finance Agency, as well as several performance audits. She has also assisted in the update of the Financial Audit Manual (FAM), including the audit guidance for Fund Balance with Treasury. Prior to joining GAO in June 2009, Anne was an audit manager at a public accounting firm. She graduated from University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland.
