Arushi Thakorlal CGFM

Arushi Kumar Thakorlal, CGFM, CFE, CICA, is the Deputy City Auditor for the City of Seattle. She previously served as the first female City Auditor for the City and County of Honolulu and as a fiscal analyst in Seattle’s City Budget Office, where she managed a portfolio of departments and policy issue areas with a $400 million budget. She began her auditing career at the U.S. Government Accountability Office, on the Health Care team. Arushi has an M.P.P. and a B.A. in Economics both from the University of Virginia.
