Bernadette Goodwin is a Director in the Office of Financial Innovation and Transformation within Treasury’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service (Fiscal Service), In this role, she leads innovation efforts to transform Federal financial management.

Prior to this role, Bernadette was Director of Financing at Fiscal Service and responsible for the auction operations of Treasury marketable securities used to finance the bulk of the $28 trillion national debt for the U.S. government. She also served as Director of Program Support in the Office of Wholesale Securities Services at Fiscal Service. There she directed all aspects of financial management, human capital management, Capital Planning and Investment Control, strategic and operational planning, audit and compliance, enterprise risk management, and fiscal agent relationship management.

Bernadette has over 20 years of federal service experience. During her tenure, she has held numerous leadership positions in areas of procurement, information technology, and delinquent debt collection. Prior to federal service, she was a consultant at American Management Systems (now known as CGI) where she worked on deploying enterprise resource packages at other federal agencies.
