Blake Hoing

Blake Hoing is the Director of the Data Transparency and Analysis Division within SBA. He is responsible for Data Act reporting, Open Data, Analysis (with an emphasis on Loans, Financial Management, and Fraud), and advancing the CDO’s vision for empowering agency decision makers through the strategic use, management, and analysis of data. He has over 30 years of experience at SBA in various Financial Systems Management areas including: loan accounting data, general ledger, cash reconciliation, financial reporting, Data Act, GTAS, and many other areas. Since the pandemic, the office has supported various fraud offices within the Agency including PPP, EIDL Loans, RRF, and SVOG. He lives in Denver, CO and supervises a team of data Scientists in Washington, DC. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Metropolitan State University in Denver and an Associate of Applied Science in Financial Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
