Brian Nichols

Brian is a Policy Analyst in the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Office of Federal Financial Management. Since joining OMB in 2015, Brian has worked on a variety of initiatives including financial reporting, government charge cards, and improper payments. Brian's current portfolios include financial systems and payment integrity. Prior to OMB, Brian served as a Staff Accountant at the Department of Homeland Security's Office of the Chief Financial Officer where he led several Department-wide initiatives.

Brian is a graduate from Virginia Tech where he received his Undergraduate and Master's degree in Accounting & Information Systems. Brian is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
