Carla Flores CGFM

Ms. Carla Flores is the Acting Director for Financial Reporting and Analysis and SAP S/4 Business Project Lead at the IRS Office of the Chief Financial Officer. In her role, she oversees the preparation of the financial statements and footnotes of the IRS, supports the annual financial statements audit, and leads the modernization of the IRS financial systems landscape. She previously served as the CFO Data Analytics Lead, where she expanded the IRS CFO analytics capabilities and deployed initiatives to realize value from the Integrated Financial System. Ms. Flores has over 15 years of experience in federal financial management, accounting and financial reporting at various bureaus and cabinet-level agencies. Ms. Flores holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an accounting major from the University of Puerto Rico in Ponce. She is a Certified Government Financial Manager, and a Tableau Desktop Certified Associate. Ms. Flores is an active member of AGA, and currently serves as the AGA Dallas Chapter National Council of Chapters Representative, and the AGA National Governing Board Director for Chapters in Area 3.
