Dr. Carol Eyermann

Senior Staff Associate for Internal Control Quality Assurance, National Science Foundation

Dr. Eyermann is the Senior Staff Associate for Internal Control Quality Assurance at the National Science Foundation. She has thirty-three years of Federal service, which includes working in the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, the Defense Logistics Agency, and the Federal Aviation Administration. She serves as a member of the Comptroller General’s Green Book Advisory Council (2013-current), which rewrote the internal control requirements for the Federal government. During the past thirteen years, Dr. Eyermann applied a risked-base internal control program implementing the Federal Managers’ Financial Integrity and Federal Financial Management Improvement Acts. She continues to integrate the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission’s Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Control frameworks and is a member of the OMB Circular A-123, Appendix D Advisory Group.
