Mrs. Truesdale is currently a part of the Budget & Finance Division at the District of Columbia Courts, and is an industry leader and subject matter expert in the Accounting and Financial Reporting field. She possesses a Master’s degree in Accounting, supplemented by roughly 10 years of experience in the accounting field. In addition, she holds an active Certified Government Financial Manager certification. Her expertise lies in the areas of federal accounting. Mrs. Truesdale possesses knowledge of various OMB circulars such as A-11, A-123, A-134, and A-136; in addition to accounting standards under GAAP issued by GASB, FASAB, and FASB as well as GAAS auditing standards. She also possesses extensive experience with the U.S Standard General Ledger (USSGL) and Governmentwide Treasury Account Symbol Adjusted Trial Balance System (GTAS). Furthermore, Mrs. Truesdale is actively heading the implementation of SFFAS 54 at the District of Columbia Courts.
