Christina Ho is the Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS) for Accounting Policy and Financial Transparency. She is responsible for leading the implementation of the high profile legislation signed into law in May 2014, the DATA Act, and advancing governmentwide efforts to improve open, accountable, and participatory government through reliable, timely, secure, and consumable financial management data. She is also responsible for assisting the Fiscal Assistant Secretary in development of policies for the administration of governmentwide accounting activities in the Treasury department. In addition, she represents the Department of Treasury on the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB). Prior to her appointment as DAS, Christina held leadership positions with the former Financial Management Service and Bureau of Public Debt and was a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche, LLP. In 2014, she was named as one of the “Fierce 15” winners by FierceGovernment and received the Big Data Innovation Award by Federal Big Data Summit for her innovative work in data transparency at Treasury. Christina is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified information system auditor (CISA).
