Ms. Christine Jones PMP

Christine Jones has been with the Federal government for 30 years and serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Operations and Management in HHS’s Office of the Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources (ASFR). In this role, she oversees ASFR’s administrative operations and management functions, including human resources, budget, facilities and IT, as well oversees HHS’s COVID-19 Accountability and Risk Assessment Team and the development of the Government-wide Grants Quality Services Management Organization. Christine is also the lead executive over HHS’s Enterprise Risk Management capability. Prior to taking on this role, Christine served in multiple roles in ASFR’s Office of Finance, where she earned a reputation as a government-wide expert in program integrity, improper payments, and Enterprise Risk Management. Prior to coming to the Department, she held various program integrity related positions at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and served in the Office of Inspector General, Office of Counsel working with providers on compliance issues. Christine is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
