Daniel Buchtel

Dan Buchtel has more than 38 years experience in the federal audit community. He currently serves as Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Audit with the National Science Foundation OIG. Dan received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from University of Colorado-Denver and an MBA from Regis University and is a CPA in Colorado. A life-long resident of the Denver area, Dan enjoys hiking and fly fishing in the Colorado mountains. As a Disney lover, Dan was quite excited to follow last year’s PDT in Anaheim with this year’s gathering in Orlando. Dan and his wife, Rose, are proud parents of five daughters, residing across the country in Colorado, Florida, and New York.
