Colonel Daniel Long

Colonel Dan Long has served on active duty and with the Ohio National Guard for the since 1995. He initially started his career as an Engineer officer and transitioned to Armor when he joined the guard in 1999. He has completed assignments in a variety of command and staff positions as a Cavalry Troop and Squadron Commander, Brigade Operations officer, Brigade Commander, and now serves as the Director of Strategy, Plans and Policy for the Ohio National Guard. Colonel Long specializes in continuous process improvement, the integrated management system and strategic planning.
