Daniel Vavasour

Daniel (Dan) Vavasour is the Assistant Commissioner of the Department of Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service’s Administrative Resource Center (ARC). In this role, Dan leads the areas of the organization that prepare the budget, manage projects, provide technology solutions, support customer needs and drive automation. Dan and the broader ARC team provide Financial Management, Human Resource, Travel and Procurement services to Federal agencies enabling them to focus on their core missions. Dan came to the Bureau from the Federal Reserve Bank where he led their payment operations. Dan joined the Bureau in 2003 and has held leadership roles in Debt Collection, Payment Management, and Treasury Securities. Dan holds an Undergraduate Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership. Dan resides in Austin, Texas with his wife and two children.
