Mr. David Mahr, CGFM
Secretariat Controller, Massachusetts Exec Office of Public Safety and Security
David currently leads strategic financial initiatives that support all Public Safety CFOs and improve practices across Public Safety agencies. His focus is on federal grants management, internal controls, and audit management. David began his career managing the capital budget for the state’s environmental agencies. David also served as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, overseeing the financial components of the Commonwealth’s Emergency preparedness, response, and recovery operations. David earned his CGFM in 2023 and serves as the CGFM Chair for the Boston AGA Chapter.
