Don Fenhagen is a Vice President and Managing Client Partner with IBM Consulting. He is the responsible for IBM’s Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice business and serves as the Senior Location Executive for the IBM Baltimore and Central Maryland IBM offices. His responsibilities for DHS and Justice include all business between IBM and DHS and DOJ, client relationships, customer satisfaction, profit and loss commitments, marketing, new business pursuits and partner relationships. He has been with IBM since 2004 and has a broad experience working across industries and service lines in both the public and private sectors. His 18 years with IBM include leadership in complex program management, solution delivery, sales and business development, product development, client relationship management, mergers and acquisitions and developing new markets.
He holds multiple patents in analytics and has authored publications focused on asset management, data sharing and predictive analytics. His industry expertise includes customers across the Federal Government including the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, state and local governments, transportation, Department of Defense and utilities. He is an active participant in the Federal government community and National Security industry organizations including serving on the board member of the AFFIRM and the Homeland Security Defense Business Council as well as an active leader in the Washington Homeland Security Roundtable. He also supports continuous volunteer opportunities including P-TECH at Carver in Baltimore, Junior Achievement of Central Maryland, ACT-IAC, Boy Scouts of America and Baltimore youth sports.
Mr. Fenhagen possesses an International Executive MBA from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from the College of Charleston in South Carolina.
He is married to Sarah Fenhagen and has three boys, George (10) Sam (8), and Hank (5) who reside in their hometown of Baltimore, MD. In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing golf and basketball and rooting for the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens.
