Ms. Eileen Larence

Ms. Larence joined the Amtrak Office of Inspector General in 2015, after a 37-year career at the Government Accountability Office, where she was a member of the Senior Executive Service and led GAO’s oversight of the Department of Justice and federal efforts to better share intelligence information after 911. At the OIG, Ms. Larence serves as the Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Audits, where she oversees reviews of Amtrak’s pandemic recovery, operations, strategic planning, financing, and overall management. She also co manages the Office of Audits, leading its recruiting, hiring, training, staff development, and process improvements.
