Elizabeth joined the Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General (DOJ OIG) in 2009 and has assisted with performance audits of various DOJ components, including the FBI, DEA, and ATF. In 2016 she became an Assistant Regional Audit Manager in the DOJ OIG’s Chicago office, which provides oversight for the midwest region. Elizabeth has been responsible for numerous audits of DOJ national security and law enforcement programs, as well as DOJ grant funds provided to state and local governments and non-profit entities. For the past 7 years, Elizabeth has helped lead the DOJ OIG’s Crime Victim Fund-related audit efforts, which includes audits of millions of grant dollars provided annually to every U.S. state and territory.
