Eric Fonseca
Audit Principal, NJ Office of the State Auditor
Eric has 18 years of experience with the NJ Office of the State Auditor and currently serves in a supervisory role as an Audit Principal. He also worked part time as a forensic accountant and has his own business providing volunteer income tax assistance. As someone who loves learning, he enrolled in Rutgers Business School and will graduate with honors in Summer 2026 with a master’s degree in Governmental Accounting. Upon graduating, he hopes to continue his journey of learning and apply to a few PhD programs. One fun fact about Eric is he was adopted from Colombia and has a twin sibling he’s never met.
