Eric Tarnovsky
Special Agent in Charge, AmeriCorps Office of Inspector General
Eric Tarnovsky currently serves as the Special Agent in Charge AmeriCorps Office of Inspector General (OIG) in Washington, DC. He is responsible for overseeing and providing guidance to Special Agents investigating allegations of fraud and whistleblower retaliation concerning AmeriCorps and its grant programs across the United States. This includes the investigation of embezzlement, bribery, false claims, theft, and non-compliance with AmeriCorps regulations. Eric previously served as a Special Agent with AmeriCorps OIG and has been in the OIG community since 2011. He graduated from Christopher Newport University in with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park.
