Erica Roach

Erica Roach serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the Office of Personnel Management. In this capacity, Erica oversees OPM’s financial management, budgeting, strategic planning and performance management, enterprise risk management, internal control, and financial audit activities. Erica previously served as Deputy CFO and Chief of Systems Planning and Development within the CFO office at OPM. In this capacity, she served as the principal advisor to the CFO on all financial management policies and operations. She also led program and project initiatives aimed at modernizing and streamlining financial systems and business processes within the agency. Prior to her tenure in federal service, Erica amassed extensive experience in the private sector, where she held various leadership positions. Throughout her career, she consistently demonstrated her expertise, successfully managing programs focused on the intersection of technology and finance alongside the federal community. Erica holds a Master of Public Management from the University of Maryland, School of Public Policy and a Master of Business Administration from Johns Hopkins Cary Business School. Through her leadership and dedication, Erica continues to drive impactful change and foster financial stewardship within the Office of Personnel Management, ensuring its effectiveness in serving the needs of the federal workforce and the American public.
