Frank Murphy

Mr. Murphy is the Deputy CFO for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He was recently elevated to the position of Acting CFO, tasked with leading and improving the agency’s financial management, accounting, budgeting, fee setting, revenue forecasting, acquisition and organizational performance systems. Prior to USPTO, Mr. Murphy held key financial management positions at the Department of Housing and Urban Development and various financial management and operational positions at the Pentagon and in field offices within the Department of the Navy.
Mr. Murphy has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drexel University, and a Master of Public Administration from American University. He is a long-time member of the AGA and a Certified Government Financial Manager
