Gary Haney serves as the Program Manager for Talent Acquisition and as the Co-Director of Information Technology for the Enterprise Services Organization within the Department of Commerce. In this role, he is responsible for leading the implementation of a department-wide managed service to transform the recruiting and hiring of federal personnel. He is also responsible for the implementation and maintenance of technology solutions that support a multi-towered shared services organization. Mr. Haney was one of a small subset of employees selected to design, stand-up, and operate Commerce’s shared services capabilities.
Prior to joining the Federal Government, Gary was a Managing Director in Accenture’s defense and intelligence practice. With Accenture, Gary focused on leveraging commercial business practices to help achieve mission success. His emphasis was IT and HR shared services, cloud migration, infrastructure operations, and enterprise-wide software.
Gary received a Bachelors in Economics and Mathematics from Allegheny College and a Masters in Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
