Mr. George Kovatch

George Kovatch most recently served as the Deputy Comptroller (Budget & Appropriations Affairs) for the Department of Defense. He is President of an SDVOSB advisory company to numerous companies specializing in financial management, congressional engagement strategy development, and risk management. His 30 years of government service include Deputy Chief Management Officer for the Department of the Navy; Assistant Director, Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC), and on the Senate Appropriations Committee, Subcommittee on Homeland Security. A retired Coast Guard Surface Operations Specialist (cutterman), Mr. Kovatch graduated from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management and holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
