George McGowan
Audit Director, City of Orlando
George is the Director of Audit Services and Management Support for the City of Orlando. He began his career in internal auditing after graduating from UCF and serving in the US Air Force. He has worked for the City of Orlando over 30 years and has been Director for over 10 years. George is a CPA and has also earned Masters degrees in Public Administration from Troy University and Liberal Studies from Rollins College. He is married to his wife Janna and they have raised three college graduates, a UNF Osprey, a Rollins College Tar and an FSU Seminole.
