Ginger Bonin is a managing director in KPMG’s Federal Practice and leads delivery of numerous KPMG advisory engagements within the Department of Defense. She currently oversees staff delivering enterprise financial management, business process optimization, system assessments, data and analytics, technology enablement, change management, and sustainment services to support the Department’s financial transformation efforts. She has over 26 years of managing large, multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex and multi-location accounting, consulting, and auditing projects for various Departments and Agencies within the Department of Defense. Ms. Bonin has managed a wide range of consulting assignments covering Federal financial management improvement, audit readiness and business process standardization efforts, business and information technology strategies, system implementation and modernization efforts, effectiveness and efficiency studies, outsourcing studies, development methods, and service management. Ginger holds a B.S., Business Administration from the University of Colorado and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Program Management Professional (PMP). She is also listed in the Worldwide Who’s Who in Financial Management and is active in numerous associations related to Financial Management within the Federal Government, including leadership positions in corporate advisory groups for both the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) and the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC).
