Mrs. Gisele Holden CPA

Chief, Financial Systems Branch, National Science Foundation

Ms. Gisele D. Holden currently serves as Program Manager and Chief of the Financial Systems Branch at the National Science Foundation. In her position she managed a multimillion dollar initiative to modernize the Foundation’s financial management system called iTRAK. The system was implemented in October 2014 on time and budget. Ms. Holden’s 30 year career in financial management spans both the federal and private sectors. Since entering the federal sector in 1993, Ms. Holden has served in a number of increasingly responsible management positions in several agencies as a manager and executive responsible for modernizing and implementing financial management systems; managing financial management operations and reengineering business processes. Ms. Holden is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with B.A degree in Accounting and holds a Master in Business Administration and she has a Master Certificate in Project Management. Ms. Holden has received numerous awards in financial management and systems and was one of the Fed 100 2016 Award recipients in Information Technology and one of the 2018 individual award recipients of the Gears of Government CFOC Council Award.
