Greg Sobetski

Greg Sobetski is the chief economist at Legislative Council Staff, the nonpartisan research staff of the Colorado General Assembly. He leads a team of economists and social scientists who forecast Colorado's economy and tax revenue, equipping members of the General Assembly to maintain a balanced state budget. Since joining Legislative Council Staff in 2013, Greg has developed a reputation as an expert in state income taxes, property tax, transportation finance, and the Colorado Constitution's Taxpayer's Bill of Rights (TABOR) Amendment. He is also a regular coauthor of the nonpartisan "Blue Book" voter guide mailed to households before the election. Greg is a Colorado native and University of Denver graduate.
